For some people, this way of experiencing the world can feel surprisingly isolating. We can be surrounded by people yet, rarely do we encounter conversations that meet us where we actually are. The kinds of conversations where complexity doesn't need to be simplified, where curiosity is valued more than certainty, and where what is noticed is explored rather than dismissed, reduced or flattened.
